テフロカクタスには様々な種類が存在しますが、LIGHTHOUSE.PLANTSで扱うテフロカクタスはゲオメトリクスといいます。
アルゼンチン カタマルカ州 原産のサボテン科 テフロカクタス ゲオメトリクス （Tephrocactus geometricus）。
日本国内の園芸店でもあまり見かけないテフロカクタス ゲオメトリクスですが、LIGHTHOUSE PLANTSが販売させていただいているテフロカクタス ゲオメトリクスは、そのたまに見かける物よりも何倍も大きな " 玉 " が特徴です。
更に棘が極わずかしか無い希少株です。
There are various species within the Tephrocactus genus, but the type handled by LIGHTHOUSE.PLANTS is Tephrocactus geometricus.
Tephrocactus geometricus (Tephrocactus geometricus) is a cactus species native to Catamarca, Argentina.
Although Tephrocactus geometricus is rarely seen in garden shops in Japan, the geometricus offered by LIGHTHOUSE.PLANTS is characterized by spheres that are many times larger than the occasional specimens found in the market.
They are also rare plants with extremely few spines.
Tephrocactus 屬中有多種不同的種類，而 LIGHTHOUSE.PLANTS 所經手的是 Geometricus。
Tephrocactus geometricus（幾何掌刺球）原生於阿根廷的卡塔馬卡省。
在日本的園藝店中相當少見，不過 LIGHTHOUSE PLANTS 所販售的 geometricus，其「球體」比一般偶爾見到的個體大上好幾倍。
此外，它們的刺極少，是非常稀有的株型。

實生株與側芽株的差異
更にテフロカクタス ゲオメトリクスには実生とカキコの二種が存在します。
1つ目は種から育てた実生株。
大量に生産できる反面、楕円に成長し、球が付きにくい傾向にあります。
2つ目はLIGHTHOUSE PLANTSで扱っている海外カキコ株。
これはヨーロッパで育てたカキコ株です。
一玉一玉丁寧に管理されていて、正円、棘が極わずか、淡いグリーン。
Tephrocactus geometricus exists in two types: seed-grown and offshoot-grown.
1. Seed-grown plants
These are grown from seeds. Although they can be mass-produced, they tend to grow into oval shapes and have difficulty forming round spheres.
2. Offshoot-grown plants handled by LIGHTHOUSE.PLANTS
These offshoots are cultivated in Europe.
Each sphere is carefully cared for, resulting in perfectly round shapes, extremely few spines, and a soft green color.
Tephrocactus geometricus 主要有兩種來源：實生與側芽。
1. 實生株（種子培育）
這類株可以大量生產，但容易長成橢圓形，不太容易形成標準的圓球。
2. LIGHTHOUSE PLANTS 所販售的海外側芽株
這些是於歐洲培育的側芽株。
每一顆球都被細心管理，球形正圓、刺極少、整體呈現柔和的淡綠色。

非常にスローな成長速度ですが、カキコ株は約1年に一度、花が咲くか球が増える確率が非常に高いのが特徴です。
これが当店で扱うゲオが人気の理由です。
Their growth rate is extremely slow, whereas offshoot-grown plants tend to bloom or produce a new sphere about once a year.
This is one of the reasons why our geometricus is so popular.

また茎節は比較的もろく、大きな株に仕立てるのは難しい種として有名です。
ただし球が取れてしまったとしても安心してください。
The joints of this species are relatively fragile, and it is known for being difficult to grow into a large cluster.
However, even if a sphere comes off, there is no need to worry.
這個種類的節段較脆弱，因此要培育成巨大叢生並不容易。
但即使球掉落，也不需要擔心。
外れた球を土の上に置き、1週間から4週間ほどで根を出します（季節によりスピードが異なります）。
根が出た後は土に植え、下記の育成方法と同じように水やりを行ってください。
Place the detached sphere on top of the soil, and it will produce roots in about 1 to 4 weeks (the speed depends on the season).
Once the roots appear, plant it in soil and follow the watering method described below.
只要將掉落的球放在土壤上方，大約 1～4 週（依季節而異）即可生根。
生根後再把球種入土壤，並依照下方的方式進行澆水即可。

栽培方式
当店で扱うテフロカクタス ゲオメトリクスは水と日光が大好きです。
冬以外は土がしっかり乾けば鉢底から水があふれるまでしっかり水やりをしてあげてください。
また西日を避けていただければ直射で育ててOK。
- 春 -
環境によりますが、暖かくなると同時に珠、もしくは花が咲き始めます。
水やりの回数を徐々に増やし、しっかり陽に当ててあげてください。
この際、遮光は必要ないです。
カキコ株なので高確率で一年に一度珠か花が咲きます。
鉢底までしっかり土が乾けば、10〜14日間に一度のペースで水やりしてあげてください。
- 夏 -
生まれてきた珠は徐々にシワが伸び、膨らみます。
いかに日光を浴びるかで膨らむスピードが変わります。
しかし昨今の夏は酷暑ですので管理する場所によっては遮光ネットが必要です。
鉢底までしっかり土が乾けば、5〜7日間に一度のペースで水やりしてあげてください。
- 秋 -
気温の低下とともに徐々に水やりの回数を減らします。
とはいえ残暑が続くようであれば夏と同じペースで問題ございません。
春と同じ育成法で構いません。
- 冬 -
冬になると珠がしぼみ、シワが増えます。
この時は水を吸いにくくなります。
テフロカクタス ゲオメトリクスは耐性マイナス5℃です。
雪が振らない地域であれば一年中外で育成できます。
水やりは3週間から4週間に一度水やりしてあげてください。
水の量は鉢底から溢れるまでしっかり与えて構いません。
– Spring –
Depending on your environment, new spheres or flowers will begin to appear as temperatures rise.
Gradually increase the watering frequency and allow plenty of sunlight.
No shading is required.
Since these are offshoot-grown plants, there is a high probability of blooming or forming a new sphere once a year.
When the soil is fully dry down to the bottom of the pot, water once every 10 to 14 days.
– Summer –
The new spheres gradually lose their wrinkles and swell.
The speed of swelling depends on how much sunlight they receive.
However, recent summers have been extremely hot, so depending on your environment, shading nets may be necessary.
When the soil dries completely, water once every 5 to 7 days.
– Autumn –
As temperatures drop, gradually reduce the watering frequency.
However, if the late heat continues, the same watering schedule as summer is fine.
You may use the same method as in spring.
– Winter –
During winter, the spheres shrink and wrinkles increase.
They become less able to absorb water at this time.
Tephrocactus geometricus can tolerate down to –5°C.
In regions without snowfall, they can be grown outdoors year-round.
Water once every 3 to 4 weeks.
You may water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom.
– 春天 –
隨著天氣變暖，新球或花朵開始出現。
逐漸增加澆水頻率並多曬太陽。
此階段不需要遮光。
因為是側芽株，一年長球或開花的機率非常高。
土壤完全乾燥後，每 10～14 天澆水一次。
– 夏天 –
新球的皺紋會慢慢展開並膨脹。
膨脹速度會依日照多寡而改變。
但近年的夏天極端炎熱，視環境可能需要遮光網。
土壤乾燥後，每 5～7 天澆水一次。
– 秋天 –
氣溫下降後，逐漸減少澆水頻率。
若仍有殘暑，維持與夏季相同的頻率即可。
照春天的方法管理也沒問題。
– 冬天 –
冬季時球體會縮小、皺紋增加，吸水能力變弱。
Tephrocactus geometricus 耐寒至 –5°C。
若居住地區沒有降雪，一年四季皆可戶外栽培。
每 3～4 週澆水一次即可，且可充分澆到盆底流出。
なお、室内管理の場合ですが、育成用 LEDライトとの距離が比較的近くても焼けません。
ガンガン当ててあげてください。
20000から30000ルクス程。
