交配、受粉は非常に簡単です！
花粉の付いた「おしべ」から、筆や綿棒などで「めしべ」に花粉をつけるだけ。
もちろん、花同士を直接くっつけるのも構いません。土がこぼれちゃう場合ありますが！

交配、受粉すると、早いモノでは数日で種さやが膨らみだし、緑にふっくらと膨らんだ後に茶色へと変色、その後2週間程で乾き弾けます。
種が弾けて飛んでしまうのを防ぐためキッチンネットなどを活用して花芽にかぶせるなどします。
