上部の引き締まった造形と、下部の丸みある量感との対比がとても個性的で、角度を変えるたびに別の植物のように見えます。光が当たると稜線の陰影がくっきり浮き、鑑賞性の高い一株です。
This Euphorbia obesa shows a striking twisted form, with a sharp contrast between the tighter upper body and the fuller lower section.
Depending on the angle, it almost feels like viewing a different plant each time. Light catches the ridges beautifully, creating deep shadows and giving the plant a sculptural, highly dimensional appearance. A distinctive male specimen with strong character.
